This tour is designed for those who thrive on adventure, with minimum rest days and full riding days. You should be able to ride through broken roads and challenging terrain. You'll experience a perfect mix of tarmac and off-road days, riding through three iconic passes: Badgoi Pass, Babusar Pass, and Shandur Pass. The highlight of this ride is the breathtaking Shimshal Valley, where the off-road track is known as the "death road" and is not for the faint-hearted. This perilous route includes a mix of gravel, sand, rock beds, and water crossings on mountain edges, promising an exhilarating experience.
Over 14 days and 13 nights, you'll journey from the vibrant capital, Islamabad, and then set off to the picturesque town of Kalam in the Swat Valley. The real adventure begins as we begin our ride from Kalam over the challenging Badgoi Pass to the enchanting Kumrat Valley. We then continue to the historic town of Chitral and the serene Mastuj, marveling at the stunning Phander Lake before heading to Gilgit.
As we pass through charming villages and awe-inspiring mountain scenery, we reach the legendary Hunza Valley. Here, you'll rest and explore its iconic landmarks and rich cultural heritage. The journey's climax is an epic ride to Shimshal, a remote village surrounded by majestic peaks. We return to Gilgit and ride over the iconic Babusar Pass to Naran, before concluding our adventure back in Islamabad.

Itinerary
14 DAYS ON THE EDGE ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN ISLAMABAD/ AIRPORT TRANSFER
Welcome to the capital city Islamabad. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Explore Islamabad, visit the famous Faisal Mosque, eat at a local joint, do some last minute shopping before we venture out into the mountains.
DAY 02: ISLAMABAD TO KALAM
We will hop in our support vehicle and drive a few hours from Islamabad to Kalam where you'll meet your motorcycles, any adjustments required can be taken care of here, an early night so you're fresh for your first day on the motos tomorrow!
DAY 03: KALAM TO KUMRAT (Over Badgoi pass)
Complete off-road to our resort in Kumrat from Kalam. We will cross the Badgoi pass through the magical Ushu forest into gorgeous meadows at the top to reach Kumrat valley. Riding through water crossings and picturesque streams. This should be a beautiful riding day!
DAY 04: KUMRAT TO CHITRAL
An exhilarating ride with mostly asphalt to the city of Chitral, where our destination is a beautiful resort operated by the royal family of Chitral.
DAY 05: CHITRAL TO MASTUJ FORT
A road next to the Chitral river will lead us to Booni Meadows where we’ll have lunch under the sun, and the carry on to our final destination for the night to a small little town tucked right below the Broghil Valley/Wakhan Corridor, Mastuj.
DAY 06: MASTUJ TO PHANDER
There will be plenty of scenic gems to take in along our ride today. Lunch will be en route. We will stop at Shandur Pass, the world’s highest polo field, and make our way to picturesque Phander where we'll reside beside the serene Phander river. We might even try our hand at fishing for a fresh and appetizing dinner delight.
DAY 07: PHANDER TO GILGIT
The journey from Phander Valley to Gilgit will be mostly asphalt alongside the murmuring Gilgit river. The spectacular views make it one of our most favourite rides on tour.
DAY 08: GILGIT - KHO - HUNZA
Today, we make our way to the legendary Hunza Valley, with an exciting detour that promises a sensory explosion. Get ready for this jaw-dropping surprise! We guarantee you'll be amazed by the breathtaking scenery and hidden gems that await you.
DAY 09: HUNZA REST DAY
After enjoying our beautiful breakfast overlooking the majestic Rakaposhi mountain we will enjoy a day off the bikes. We’ll visit the Karimabad, Hunza Bazaar and head up to the 1000-year-old Biltit & Altit Fort. Here we’ll have tea and lunch overlooking the Hunza river. On the way back we’ll stop at CIQAM, an all women run woodworking factory. Afterwards we’ll return back to our hotel for dinner and have Moin show us some magic tricks!
DAY 10: HUNZA TO SHIMSHAL
Shimshal stands as one of the most remote and exhilarating valleys in the Gilgit-Baltistan province, and this leg of the journey is undoubtedly the riding highlight of our tour. Riders will embark on a thrilling adventure from Hunza to Shimshal Valley, navigating challenging terrains that will test their skills and spirit. Upon arrival in Shimshal, you'll get to interact with the incredible local women and possibly join in a football game with the local girls' football team, adding a truly memorable cultural experience to your adventure.
DAY 11: SHIMSHAL TO GILGIT
We will retrace our route from Shimshal back to the stunning Hunza Valley. Upon arrival in Hunza, we'll indulge in a delicious lunch at the famous Yak Grill. Afterward, we'll continue our journey to our final destination for the day, Gilgit.
DAY 12: GILGIT TO NARAN
Descending to Islamabad, we'll traverse the breathtaking Babusar Pass (13,700 ft) on our way to Naran. The ascent from Chilas offers spectacular views, making it feel like an entirely new journey along this road.
DAY 13: NARAN TO ISLAMABAD
This will be our last day on the bikes. Once we reach the capital make sure to hug our support crew tight and thank them for keeping us safe and alive throughout the tour. This will be the last night that’s included in the package, however, if you still want second servings of adventure additional nights can be arranged for you to explore this grand city as it has so much to offer.
DAY 14: FLY HOME

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LAHORE/ AIRPORT TRANSFER
30th August: Arrival in Lahore
Welcome to the cultural capital of Pakistan: Lahore! Upon your morning arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest up before witnessing the famous Pakistan-India border crossing and flag lowering ceremony at the Wagah border.
Spend two nights exploring Lahore's rich history and vibrant culture. After your stay in Lahore, you will make your way to Islamabad and continue with the 14-day "On the Edge" itinerary.
DAY 02: EXPLORE OLD CITY LAHORE
31st August: Explore Lahore
Start your day by delving into the rich history and vibrant culture of Lahore's Old City. Enjoy a guided tour through the walled gates of Lahore, its bustling streets, marvel at historic landmarks, and soak in the lively atmosphere that defines this iconic part of the city.
The next morning, on 1st September, you will drive to Islamabad and join the rest of the group for the 14-day "On The Edge" tour.
