DESCRIPTION
A Ride with Elspeth Beard
Ride through the mountains of Pakistan with the first Englishwoman to ride around the world.
In 1982, Elspeth Beard—then a 23-year-old architecture student—set off solo on a motorcycle journey that would cover 35,000 miles across the globe. With a BMW R60/6, a few soft panniers, and an iron will, she crossed continents, battled breakdowns, injuries, theft, and isolation. She became the first Englishwoman to ride a motorcycle around the world—long before Instagram, GPS, or a support team. Her journey was raw, real, and radical.
Now, for the first time ever, you can ride with Elspeth through one of the most captivating and misunderstood countries on Earth: Pakistan.
This exclusive motorcycle expedition is your chance to share the road, stories, and soul of adventure with a true pioneer. Ride through ancient mountain kingdoms, curve along the legendary Karakoram Highway, and explore remote valleys that remain untouched by time. This is not just a tour; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Pakistan’s staggering beauty with a woman who has seen more of the world from a motorcycle than almost anyone else.
What to Expect:
Ride the Karakoram with a Legend
From Skardu to Khunjerab, we’ll trace routes that wind through Baltistan, Hunza, and the mighty Karakoram range. Elspeth will ride with us, share tales from her iconic journey, and offer rare insight into what it means to travel fearlessly
Unfiltered Adventure
You’ll ride high mountain passes, stay in boutique lodges and rustic village, eat traditional food, and meet people whose hospitality will redefine your understanding of warmth.
Join us on “A Ride with Elspeth Beard” and rediscover why we ride.
