This tour is built for riders who want real variety: smooth tarmac, rough tracks, wide open spaces, and the kind of terrain that makes you sit up a little straighter on the bike. We kick things off on the world’s highest plateau, Deosai National Park (13,500 ft), known as Land of the Giants. It is a massive, open landscape where everything feels oversized: the silence, the sky, and the sense of freedom.

Over 13 days and 12 nights, we move through northern Pakistan at a pace that lets you enjoy the miles instead of rushing through them. We start with a short flight to Skardu, grab the bikes, and ride straight into the mountains toward Deosai, where the scale of the landscape sets the tone for the journey.

From there, we ride through small mountain villages and winding valleys until we arrive in Hunza Valley. Here, you get proper time to slow down, explore the forts, enjoy the cafés, take in the views, and reset for the next stretch. One of the biggest riding days is the push up to Khunjerab Pass, the highest paved border crossing in the world at over 15,000 ft. It is a long day, but every turn brings something incredible.

After Hunza, we head into Shimshal, which feels like riding into a different world. The track is raw and narrow, with steep cliffs, wild scenery, and the kind of exposure that gets your attention. It is a challenging ride but rewarding, and riders always come back talking about this day.

We then ride from Shimshal back toward Hunza and on to Skardu. It is a scenic stretch with rivers, high peaks, and villages tucked into the valley. The tour ends with a final night in Skardu before catching a flight back to Islamabad the next morning.

Every night, you return to comfortable boutique stays with good food, hot showers (barring Shimshal), and a quiet place to settle in. This trip is not about rushing from checkpoint to checkpoint. It is about good riding, good company, and experiencing a part of the world that still feels untouched.

If you want big mountains, real adventure, and a story worth telling, this ride delivers.

Explore Islamabad, visit the famous Faisal Mosque, eat at a local joint, do some last minute shopping before we venture out into the mountains.

DAY 02: ISLAMABAD TO SKARDU

On your second day in Pakistan, we kick off our adventure with an early morning flight from Islamabad to the mesmerising city of Skardu. Upon arrival, we’ll meet our bikes and gear up for a shake-down ride.

DAY 03: SKARDU TO DEOSAI NATIONAL PARK

We begin the ride by crossing the second highest plateau in the world, Deosai Plains, also known as the Land of the Giants, is a high-altitude alpine plain with an average elevation of over 13,500Ft. above sea level. We will ride to Sheosar Lake and experience a magical night under the stars at our glampsite in Deosai.

DAY 04: DEOSAI NATIONAL PARK TO GILGIT

We begin our descent from the awe-inspiring Deosai Plains back to Skardu, riding through rugged terrains that offer spectacular views of towering peaks and sweeping valleys. Once we reach Skardu, we transition onto a newly built tarmac road, a significant upgrade from the previous route. This well-paved route not only saves time but also offers a smooth ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, winding along the banks of the roaring Indus River and through picturesque valleys.

DAY 05: GILGIT - KHO - GULMIT

Today, we make our way to the legendary Hunza Valley, with an exciting detour that promises a sensory explosion. Get ready for this jaw-dropping surprise! We guarantee you'll be amazed by the breathtaking scenery and hidden gems that await you.

DAY 06: GULMIT REST DAY

During this day, you'll have the choice to cruise on your bikes or ride in our support vehicles. Our first stop will be the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, offering you the opportunity to cross the Hunza River on the scariest pedestrian bridge on the planet. Following that, we'll head to the women's weaving center and the NKMA community-based school, where you can engage with the local children.

We'll rendezvous at Attabad Lake for an exhilarating boat ride or a playful ride on jet skis – a fitting way to cap off the day's explorations. So, whether it's wheels or water, the options are yours to embrace!

DAY 07: HUNZA - KHUNJERAB PASS - GULMIT

An exhilarating ride up Karakorum highway to the Pakistan/China Border 15,400ft above sea level is a real treat to experience on two-wheels. You might also get lucky and see the super rare Markhor, Ibex or even the snow leopard.

Day 08: GULMIT TO SHIMSHAL

Shimshal stands as one of the most remote and exhilarating valleys in the Gilgit-Baltistan province, and this leg of the journey is undoubtedly the riding highlight of our tour. Riders will embark on a thrilling adventure from Hunza to Shimshal Valley, navigating challenging terrains that will test their skills and spirit. Upon arrival in Shimshal, you'll get to interact with the incredible local women and possibly join in a football game with the local girls' football team, adding a truly memorable cultural experience to your adventure.

DAY 09: SHIMSHAL TO KARIMABAD HUNZA

We will retrace our route from Shimshal back to the stunning Hunza Valley. En-route, we'll indulge in a delicious lunch at the famous Yak Grill.

DAY 10: HUNZA REST DAY

Hunza has a lot to offer, one of the most vibrant bazaars in GB has to be the Karimabad Bazaar. From old ancient jewels, to hand made handicrafts, silk carpets and clothes.. Karimabad is also home to the famous Walnut cake at Cafe de Hunza. A lot of history too so you’ll be visiting some 1000 year old forts too. My favorite is the all women furniture factory, Hunza has a 95% literacy rate, one of the highest in the country.

DAY 11: HUNZA TO SKARDU

This will be our last day on the bikes. We will ride back to Skardu for a night, indulge in a delicious farewell dinner before our flight back to Islamabad.

DAY 12: SKARDU TO ISLAMABAD

Descending to Islamabad, we'll take a scenic morning flight from Skardu to Islamabad offering breathtaking aerial views of Pakistan's majestic Karakoram and Himalayan ranges. Snow-capped peaks (including K2 and Nanga Parbat), valleys, lakes and winding rivers create a stunning backdrop as you descend into the capital, making this a scenic and unforgettable journey through some of the world's most dramatic landscapes.
